Rules

  1. There will be no referees! All fouls are called on yourself (you can not call fouls on the other team!) keeping with the integrity and sportsmanship of the league.
  2. All teams are expected to play with integrity and sportsmanship in order to keep the league fun for all. Teams that continuously display poor sportsmanship will not be invited to return the following season.
  3. Duration of games will be 40 Minutes (2 - 20 Minute halves); Halftime will be 2 minutes; Time b/n games is 5 Minutes; Clock starts even if teams are not ready.
  4. Roster size is up to 15 players. Players may not be on more than one roster.
  5. Players must be on roster and have played 2 regular league games in order to participate in the playoffs.
  6. All teams will play with 6 field players and a goalkeeper (7 v 7).
  7. All players competing must be registered. A team may play down one player but no more. If a team doesn't have enough players to compete, the team must forfeit, which
    will be recorded as a 0 - 5 loss.
  8. No earrings, necklaces, rings, chains, or hair barrettes are to be worn at any time.
  9. Casts must be wrapped with a soft material and approved before the start of the game.
  10. There will be no offsides.
  11. The opening kick may travel in any direction.
  12. Substitutions will be allowed "on the fly" as long as the exiting player is off before the sub enters.
  13. Goal kicks will be taken anywhere in the goal box, and may travel over midfield in the air.
  14. All kicks will be indirect with the exception of penalty kicks. The defenders must be 5 yards away from the ball.
  15. Goalkeepers are allowed unlimited steps, however the ball must be distributed within 6 seconds. The keeper cannot punt or dropkick the ball.
  16. Teams will be given: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss.
  17. Tiebreakers for standings will be: 1) head to head, 2) goal differential up to 5, 3) total goals against, 4) Penalty Shootout
  18. No slide tackling will be allowed. Sliding to save or obtain possession of the ball will be allowed as long as it does not endanger another player
